Everything you want to know about iPhone photo apps but afraid to ask.
The latest Phonto’s update added 55 creative fonts. Here are some of my favorites. You can also put text around a curve or circle.
Rookie Photo editor app (Free) might be a new rookie in photo apps landscape, but its performance, multiple features and usability exceeded several existing veteran photo apps. Rookie could be your all-in-one editing apps offering VSCO Cam-like filters (10 themes), Doodles-like overlays, SymbolGram-like shapes and Studio Designs-like badges and borders.
Like VSCO Cam and Afterlight, the app allows you to adjust opacity, saturation, contrast and brightness, to name a few.
I am particularly surprised with 100+ font types the app includes in the free version, including several creative fonts that I used to download from dafont website to my Phonto app. Moreover, I am impressed with its text editing features. You can add shadow with different colors (soft or solid). You can adjust text spacing, opacity, size and rotation.
Although the app is free, you can upgrade by paying $4.99 to take advantage of 72 filters, 130 shapes and borders, and 192 stickers/overlays. But with the free version, Rookie offers plenty of user-friendly and practical features that you’d enjoy.
The app also sports live filter camera with anti-shake, geo-tag and self-timer, among many others.
Search #Rookieapp on Instagram and find out how people have fun with this cool app.
do you know of any apps that are like afterlight, but free? (sorry if you've already gotten this question)
Yes, I was asked this question a lot! The problem is AfterLight has several features (filters, shapes, light leaks, and customized adjustment). Do any the apps that are free offer the same features? No, unfortunately. But you can find free apps with one or more features, but not all like Afterlight.
Try Picsart and Piclab.
can you post a picure of all the apps you have. ?
I have a lot! Here are the old posts.
Overlay and Text Apps:
The latest update of #Fuzel app with animation feature is really cool. You can add music and customize video length.
Colorful app (free) is yet another color splash editing app that can make your photos standing out from the crowd. But this app took a step further by offering a unique feature. That is, besides choosing certain areas to be in color, you can choose the background to be in monochrome, sepia, sketch, mosaic or neon filters. This has distinguished Colorful from other color splash apps.
Recently a follower sent me a picture with a sun-shape overlay and asked me what app was used. Unfortunately, I could not find the one she was looking for but I did find several apps with similar sun shapes. Hope this is helpful. (Click each image for larger view.)
