PixShape app.

($1.99)

I have enjoyed using Kanvas app (free with in-app purchases). Its main offerings are overlays (animated sets with in-app purchases), stickers, and videos. You can also add texts (with more than 150 fonts), emojis, and various frames and borders.

The app allows you to stitch a series of videos, photos and gifs from your camera roll or you can search for those from Tumblr, Instagram, Giphy or Flickr. But I have to say that is not why I like this app. Creating video collages or GIFs might be fun but I like what the app has to offer with overlays, especially animated overlays. See previous post immediate to this one for an example of an animated overlay.

One thing the app could be improved is to make the animated overlays longer than 2 seconds. Unless you add music to the overlays, you can’t upload them to instagram because IG requires a minimum of 3 seconds.

Overall, Kanvas is a good and fun app to add to your photo apps bag.

Autumn: Best time of year. And Snapseed is still my favorite photo editing app of all times.

Xircle app.

App: Xircle. Several circular frames for your photos with different background or border colors. Easy to use.

Generate app (free) is awesome! It turns your simple photos into creative arts with 18 fun effects. Its ability to allow you to adjust each effect and add new effects enable you to create unique images. The live filters for both still photos and videos are also cool! You can add audio as well. I had fun with it and hope you will too.

I know I have written about Papelook (free) app before. But I still have followers asking what app has Candy heart stickers or “Can U Not” or “Perf” or “How about No” or some other popular “Tumblr” words.

Many of these are overlays that you can google to find the images. But then you need an app (like Photo Wizard) to make them transparent and then another app (like PicsArt) to add them into a photo.

Papelook can cut those steps by offering several sets of stickers including those popular words and symbols. Some are free, some are not. I particularly like the flowers set.

So try the app. Hope you find its stickers boosting your creativity a bit.

Fuzel Pro app’s latest update (with a new logo) is very good and now more than just a collage app. But more in-app purchases to get cool stickers and creative frames. Here are some of its frame designs. Video made with Gifmojo app.

Gifmojo (free) is an easy gif maker app to use. It automatically chooses photos on your camera roll. You can remove certain pictures as well as change the speed of the gif. Very cool app!

InstaShape app (free) goes beyond other shape apps by offering pattern (image) backgrounds in addition to palette of colors. Its shape variety is also cool and you can also adjust opacity level as well.
